Genevieve Peralta Sanchez passed away on Tuesday, April 11, 2017 at Canon Hospice in Jefferson, LA. Beloved wife of the late Joaquin O. Sanchez. Loving mother of Genevieve Sanchez Weilbaecher (husband, Paul III) of Metairie, LA. Grandmother of Paul C. Weilbaecher IV (wife, Monique) of Metairie, LA and Adam D. Weilbaecher (wife, Ariane) of Maryville, TN. Great-grandmother of Mila C. Weilbaecher of Maryville, TN. Daughter of the late Federico Peralta and the late Louisa Ramirez Peralta. Step-daughter of the late Eulalia Diaz Peralta. Sister of the late Juana Alicia Peralta. Genevieve was a charter member of the First Spanish American Baptist Church of New Orleans. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service at the First Spanish American Baptist Church of New Orleans, 1820 Sophie Wright Pl., New Orleans, LA on Saturday, April 29, 2017 at 11:00 AM.
