Genevieve Dimiceli Ponseti

Genevieve Dimiceli Ponseti, 83, passed away at her home in Metairie, LA, after a courageous battle with cancer, on Saturday, August 18, 2018. She was the beloved wife for 66 years of Patrick S. Ponseti, who survives her. She is also survived by her five children, Patti (Geoff) Schwind, Kirk (Carol) Ponseti, Gigi (Hank) Hotard, Louis Ponseti and Perry Ponseti, her sister, Virginia Cognevich, 13 grandchildren, and 6 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Louis and Pauline Totina Dimiceli, and her sister, Loretta Casadaban. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at St. Louis King of France Catholic Church, 1609 Carrollton Avenue, Metairie, LA, on Saturday morning, August 25, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. Visitation begins at 9:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, Masses or memorial donations to the American Cancer Society are preferred. Arrangements entrusted to the Neptune Society of New Orleans.
