Frederick Schule Sr.

Frederick Schule passed away peacefully on April 20, 2017 at the age of 86. Beloved husband of Shirley Barrios Schule; they shared 67 years together. Frederick was a native of New Orleans, LA and former resident of Chalmette, LA. Son of the late Andrew Schule and Myrtle Wolfe Schule. Preceded in death by his brother, August Charles Schule (Margarretta). Loving father of 4 children: Frederick Schule, Jr. (Sandy), Belinda Meyer (Larry), Kathy Fernandez (Ronnie), and Tina Billiot (David). Frederick was a proud grandfather of 10 and great-grandfather of 22. He was employed by Kaiser Aluminum for 32 years. Frederick was an avid runner and bird enthusiast. The family of Frederick Schule wishes to extend a special thank you to the personnel of Ochsner Northshore Hospital for their excellent care and kindness. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral services at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church, 2320 Paris Road, Chalmette, LA on Monday, May 1, 2017. Visitation will be held from 10AM until 11AM with a Memorial Mass to follow. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation in Frederick’s honor to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
