Frances Costa Bordelon died on December 1, 2016 at the age of 88. She was an artist, and a member of the New Orleans Art Association Guild and Degas Pastel Society for many years. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She had many friends, and was loved by everyone who knew her. She is survived by her children, J. Michael Bordelon, Jeanine Bordelon Gautreaux, Mark Bordelon, Mary Bordelon Martinez; six grandchildren, and one great grandchild. Frances, and her deceased husband, Jean Bordelon, who died August 23, 2015, would have been married 65 years on February 4, 2017. They will be honored by their immediate family at a private burial service at St. Joseph Abbey on February 4th, 2017.
