Elizabeth Denton (Colvin) Mitchell

She was born on January 6, 1935 in Dubach, LA to Robert Harold Colvin and Mary Elizabeth Tucker Colvin. She was a beautiful artist and photographer. She enjoyed teaching art and continuing learning about art and photography throughout her life. She was a supporter of the New Orleans Opera Association and the New Orleans Symphony Orchestra. She was a parishioner of Grace Episcopal Church of St Francisville, LA.

Elizabeth was preceded in death by her parents, Robert Harold and Mary Elizabeth Colvin, and her second husband, Robert Kent Mitchell. She is survived by her children; Kathleen Blair Willoughby (Leverone), Rebecca L. Denton, Frank Bradley Denton and his wife Dana Denton, Elizabeth A. Denton (Lesser), and Brenna Rae Denton (Evans). She is also survived by her grandchildren; Bradley Willoughby, Gabriel Lesser, Frank Michael Denton, Rowan Evans, Alexandra Denton, Mary Lesser and Oona Evans along with great grandchildren.
