Elizabeth Faye Lindsey passed away peacefully on March 23, 2018 at her home in Pearl River, Louisiana at the age of 71. Elizabeth was born in Battlecreek, Michigan on February 5, 1947, but moved to New Orleans and graduated from Alcee Fortier High School in 1965.
In 1967, she married her best friend, Bruce Thomas Sondes and had two children, Scott and Beth. They divorced in 1982, but remained best friends up until his passing in June of 1990.
In August of 1995, she was married to Robert Michael Lindsey until his death in 2015.
For the last year and a half, she was in a loving and caring relationship with Frank Haynes and was able to travel and fulfill many of her life’s wishes.
Elizabeth (Liz) is survived by her children Scott Sondes and Beth Sondes Marquar as well as her grandchildren Adrianna, Lauren, Frankie, and Leah.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 21st at the River Oaks Clubhouse, 1 River Oaks Drive, Covington, LA. The family will receive friends at 12:00pm with the memorial service to begin at 1:00pm. An interment will be held privately at a later date.
