Edward Francis Wrubluski Jr.

Born in Seattle, Washington, he was the son of Edward F. Wrubluski and Alice Spikkeland. Ed is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Edward F. and Tina M. Wrubluski III and grandson, Evan Francis Wrubluski; daughter and son-in-law, Lauren W. and Michael Cozad and grandchildren, Alexis P. Shaw, Aubrey D. Cozad and Annabelle R. Cozad; his brother, Stanley V. Wrubluski; and his sister, Marylou A. Dankelman.

Ed was an Army veteran, drafted to serve in the Vietnam War, where he served two tours with the 1st Cavalry Division. After his discharge, he earned his Bachelors of Business Administration degree from Loyola University in New Orleans in 1976. He finished a distinguished career with the New Orleans District of the Army Corps of Engineers, retiring in 2017.

A funeral service is scheduled for 11:00 a.m. on July 13, at Southeast Louisiana Veterans Cemetery located at 34888 Grantham College Drive, Slidell, Louisiana, 70460.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to be made ‘In memory of Edward F. Wrubluski Jr.’ to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital. Arrangements entrusted to the Neptune Society of New Orleans.
