Edward P White Jr.

The family of Edward “Ed” White of Waggaman, is saddened to announce his passing on Tuesday April 29th, 2025 at the age of 67. He was an avid outdoorsman, but first and foremost, he was a family man. He was a caring father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend to everyone.

Ed is survived by his children: Ryan (Danielle), Adam (Lori), Sarah and Hannah; grandchildren: Austin, Kylie, Averie, Dylan and Peyton. He is also survived by his siblings Kim, Dickie (Adonna), Jeff (Donna), Mike (Rose), Scott (Lori), Stacey (Mark), and Nicole (Scott). He also leaves behind many nieces, nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Kathleen White, fiancé Julie Jensen, brother in law Paul Desselle.

Visitation will be at St. John Paul II Church ( formerly Our Lady of the Angels) 6851 River Road Waggaman, La on Friday May 9th from 10:00am- 12:00pm. A mass will follow. In the lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations in Ed’s honor to St. Jude’s research hospital.
