Dorothy Davis Duroncelay

Dorothy Davis Duroncelay passed away at her residence surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday, July 5, 2017. She was born and raised in New Orleans and was a longtime resident of LaPlace, LA. Dorothy was formerly employed as a PRN, she loved her family and watching movies, and was an active member of Celebration Church, LaPlace, and the Ladies Life group there. Dorothy is survived by her beloved children Wilfred Davis (wife, Marjorie), Linda Anders, Brenda Warren, and Mercedes Davis, sisters Abby Rousel, Grace Felton, Joyce Theriot, and brother Tony William Felton. She was predeceased by her parents, Moses and Centoria Belvin Alexander, a sister, Mercedes Felton, and a brother, Clarence Felton. She is the grandmother of Deshone, Wayne, Irell, Alicia, Wilfred, Brian, Ariel, and Angelica, and the late Rynell and Krieg, and is survived by a host of nieces, nephews and great-grandchildren. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Memorial Service at Celebration Church, 3400 New Highway 51, LaPlace, LA, 70068, on Friday morning, July 14, 2017 at 10:00 am.
