Beloved husband of the late Catherine Bordonaro Jacobs. Son of the late Melvin Joseph Jacob and Ella Labat Jacob. Loving father of Donald R. Jacobs, Jr., Suzanne Jacobs (Willie Upton) and Denise Casiano (Lenny Casiano). Grandfather of Christina Jacobs, Joey Jacobs, Vicente Diaz (Brooke), Jonathan Diaz (Maleigha) and Selena Jacobs. Great grandfather of Jayce Jacobs, Elleigh Diaz, Lainey Diaz and Vinny Diaz. Brother of Marilyn "Manny" Winters and Carolyn "Minnie" Williams. Uncle of Bambi Wingrave, Harold "Bubby" Winters, Sherry Campo, Stacy Winters, Dana Bagwell, Brandy Hemelt and Scotty Williams.

Donald was a hard worker (jack of all trades). He enjoyed his Bud Ice, pulling floats for Blaine Kern and Cantrell, casinos and boating.

A Celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, March 18, 2023 from 12:00 pm until 4:00 pm at 641, Compromise St, Kenner, LA.
