She was born on December 3rd 1963 in Honolulu, HI where she grew up with her siblings William Kaolelopono Jr., Winona Kaolelopono, and David Kaolelopono .
When asked about her career Debra would say, “From waitress to management, I’ve enjoyed my job and the people I’ve met over 37 years.”
She is preceded in death by her parents, Julia Marcotte and William Kaolelopono Sr., and her step-father, Leverett Marcotte.
She is survived by her husband, Reginald Hart; children, Leverett Mendenhall, Amanda White, Renee Smith, Randy Mendenhall, and Brandy Mendenhall; 14 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. She is also survived by countless friends and was never a stranger to anyone she met along the way.
