David Jude Badon

David Jude Badon, 59, passed away on June 19, 2023 surrounded by his loved ones after a long, courageous battle with cancer. He was born August 10, 1963 in Johnstown, PA and was a longtime resident of Slidell, LA.

He is survived by his soul mate and partner Cynthia Douglas, his children: Dorothy (Joe) Jackson, Erin (Seth) Cooley, and Brandon Badon, stepfather of Lauren Clark and Chad Douglas His grandchildren: Zack, Lily and Amelia Jackson, Charlotte, Cadence and Eli Cooley, and Eli, Wyatt and Ryder Douglas. He is also survived by his loving mother, Mary Badon and his siblings Andrew Badon and Andrea Zarich, as well as his nieces - Christine, Elizabeth, Shannon, Sydney and Samantha who loved him dearly. David was preceded in death by his father, Davy Badon, and his brothers, James and Robert Badon.

David began his career at Navia's in the early 80's and went on to spend twenty years at the New Orleans Super Dome. His greatest passions were the simple joys of life - spending time with family and friends, enjoying a great meal, and playing with his pets, Tinker, Mr. Handsome and Bruce. He especially loved cooking and making new dishes.

While we will miss him dearly, we are happy that he is no longer suffering and is now home with the Lord. David will always be cherished and remembered by all

of us who loved him.
