Cheryl Ann Cassreino

CHERYL DRAGON CASSREINO, was unexpectedly taken from us at her Metairie home on Wednesday, January 3, 2018 at the age of 64. She was the daughter of Doris Borrows Millaudon and the lovingly adopted daughter of the late Frederick G. Millaudon. She was the devoted wife of 42 years to Victor Joseph Cassreino, Sr.; a wonderful and loving mother to her children and their spouses, son, Victor Joseph, Jr. and Aimee Couvillion, and daughter Shelley and Andrew Stolf. She was the proud Grandmother of Ashlyne-Victoria Elizabeth Cassreino and Victor “Tre” Joseph Cassreino, III.

Cheryl started her 40+ years in the financial industry at Howard Weill and until recently was Operations Manager at Raymond James. Being a true New Orleanian she enjoyed Mardi Gras with family and would make costumes for all the kids and any kids at heart who wished to participate, family crawfish boils at Easter, and family Thanksgiving with deep fried turkey. She will be greatly missed by her siblings and their spouses: Terrie Galle (Carl); Ernest “Buster” Dragon (Anna); Kenneth Dragon, and sister-in-law, Donna Dragon along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her brother, Timothy Dragon and sister-in-law Donna Dragon.

Family and Friends are invited to attend the Memorial Service at The National Shrine of Our Lady of Prompt Succor, 2701 State Street, New Orleans, Louisiana on Saturday, January 27th, 2018. Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m., followed by a mass at 3:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to your favorite charity in her name.
