Charles Everett Williams died peacefully on July 20, 2018 in Kenner, Louisiana at the age of 92.
Charles was born in Mattoon, Illinois in 1926. Immediately after high school in 1944, he enlisted in the United States Navy and served in the South Pacific. After his discharge, he studied geology at Oklahoma City University. From there, he started working for The Texas Company, which later became Texaco. Charles worked for Texaco for 40 years. Charles was preceded in death by his wife, Billie Joann Williams, and son, Barry Williams. He is survived by his sons, Steve Williams (Virginia), Jerel Dawson, his loving granddaughter Grace Williams, and his companion, Patrica Patin. Charles enjoyed spending time with his family, woodworking, and do-it-yourself projects. He will be greatly missed.
