She was the daughter of the late Clarence Milligan and Leoma Glorioso. She is survived by her elder brother, Keith Milligan(Susan), sister, Lynda Mezo, and daughter, Megan Satterfield(Ike), five grandchildren, and many beloved cousins and friends, including Janell Mang, who remained by her side until the end.
Bonnie was born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana and graduated from St. Mary's Dominican High School and attended Delgado Community College to major in Journalism. She embraced her Irish heritage and was proud to know her roots, and in search of it, even traveled to Ireland to seek more knowledge of the Milligan family name and crest. She could easily be remembered as the life of the party and could be found at the city's local festivals singing to familiar songs. As a true New Orleans girl who grew up on Bayou St. John, she loved local favorites like Parkway Bakery and going to Parasol's for St, Patrick's Day celebrations.
Bonnie donated her free time to helping the Toast to Our Heros Organization. She will be remembered for her kind and compassionate heart.
The family would like to express gratitude to St. Joseph's hospice and her dear friends who supported her until the end.
