Bernard Joseph Waguespack

Beloved husband of Muriel Dasch Waguespack for over 50 years. He was a loving father, grandfather, and great grandfather. He enjoyed spending time with his loved ones.

Beloved father of Rosalyn Waguespack Ahmad, Angela Waguespack Jones (Allen) and the late Bernard Joseph Waguespack, Jr. Adored grandfather of Alyssa Jones, Kaitlyn Jones, Allen Jones, Jr., Barry Nicolini, Jr. (Amanda), Kristin Nicolini (Cody), Joshua Nicolini, Laila Ahmad, and great grandfather of Maddox Webb and Dallas Nicolini.

Son of the late Moise Waguespack and Edese Lorio Waguespack. Brother of Sylvia Dutriex (Ronald), Phyllis Cooper (Ronald), Esther Giglio (Victor), Juanita Foster (Raymond), Earl Waguespack and the late Moise Waguespack (late Faye), Kenneth Waguespack, Anthony Waguespack, Lillian Giardina (James), Audrey Pertuit (late John), Regina Waguespack and Phyllis Waguespack.

Bernard was a graduate of Hahnville High School and was a retired member of the Local #60 Plumber and Steamfitters Union. After his retirement he became a commercial fisherman. In addition to fishing he loved hunting, gardening and watching football.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, 234 Angus Drive in Luling on Thursday, April 7, 2022 with visitation from 10:00 am until 11:00 am. Mass to follow at 11:00 am. Inurnment to follow in Holy Rosary Cemetery. Donations in his name would be preferred to the Alzheimer’s Association.
