Barbara Froelich Thomas

Barbara Froelich Thomas passed away on Wednesday, May 3, 2017 at her home in Jefferson Parish, at the age of 48. Barbara was born in New Orleans, Louisiana in August of 1968. She attended the University of New Orleans for several years before becoming a full time teacher at Magnolia School, where she worked for over 20 years. Barbara loved helping people, and her truly found joy in the time she spent at Magnolia School. More important than anything was the time she spent with her family and her beloved dog, Cheewee. Barbara is survived by her loving son, Jonathon C. Thomas, and her loving step-son, Marshall W. Thomas, Jr. She is also survived by her loving sisters, Brenda Froelich Moray (husband, Mike) and Beth Froelich Davis (husband, James). Barbara loved spending time with her nieces and nephews, Emma Dodgen, Zoe Moray, Chloe Moray, and Jaxon Davis; she will be greatly missed by her parents, Fred C. Froelich and Marion Borrelli Froelich. Services for Barbara will be private.
