She was one of the most loving, caring and genuine people that ever lived, will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. She was raised in Mid City and was Mid City to the bone, a graduate of Warren Easton and spent many years in the legal field. She truly loved all her family and friends and wouldn’t hesitate to help in anyway whenever the situation arose. She also was an avid lover of all animals.
She is preceded in death by her mother Audrey and father Mike, husband Keith, brother Eddie and many other family members. She is survived by her partner of 18 years, Tana, cousins, Kenny, Becky, Brittany, Jessica, Breanna and Gabriel. Also survived by niece Elana, a great niece, two great nephews and a host of great longtime friends.
Much gratitude and appreciation to the family and friends who sat with her in the hospital, trust me, it made a difference to her, (Tana, Suzanne, Sandy, Liz, Rose, Pam, Becky, Kenny, Cathy, and Linda.) If anyone’s name was omitted, please know that it’s not intentional and you are included in the sentiment.
Barbara Ann expressed that she wants a Celebration of life with her family and friends. Plans are in the process and everyone will know time and place in the upcoming weeks.
My Roo, it’s been an honor and privilege to be your family for the last 61 years, fly high my Angel, until next time- much love.
