Audrey Margaret Pinero

Audrey Margaret Pinero, age 77, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, on June 6, 2017. Audrey was born in New Orleans on July 8, 1939, and worked in the Jefferson Parish school system for many years before retiring from Clancy School in Kenner. She loved traveling with her sister, going on adventures, gardening, and camping. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, who will all miss her dearly. Audrey was preceded in death by her father, Jules Sebastian Pinero Sr., her mother, Margaret Matthews Pinero, her brother, Charles Lewis Pinero, and her sister, Betty Pinero Graffagnino. Audrey is survived by her loving son, Harvey M. Johnston (Debbie), her sister, Carolyn Nata (Blue), her brothers, Jerry Pinero (Ann) and Jules Sebastian Pinero Jr. (Barbara), her brother-in-law, Joel Graffagnino, numerous cousins and nieces and nephews, and her beloved puppy, Skipper. In honor of Audrey’s wishes, there will be no services. A private Celebration of her Life will be held at a later date.
