Alfred Dan McDaniel Jr.

Danny was a great friend to many and known for his ever present smile and good nature as well as his love and unmatched enthusiasm for soccer (futbol). His legacy will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.

H was the oldest son of the late Alfred D McDaniel, Sr and Gloria Boesch McDaniel, Danny was a graduate of Archbishop Rummel High School and Loyola University.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 39 years, Adelaida Castellon McDaniel; their two children, Elyse McDaniel and Andrew McDaniel; and granddaughter Pearl Louise McDaniel Mader. Danny is also survived by his brothers Gary McDaniel and Kenneth McDaniel; many nieces and nephews, cousins and friends who became family.

He is preceded in death by his parents and brother, Kelvin McDaniel, Sr. Danny’s family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the staff at My Hospice, their compassion, kindness and care of Danny in his final days as well as support to the family will not be forgotten.

A celebration of Danny’s life will be held at the Foundation Room in Lafreniere Park on Friday, March 21st, 2025 from 11:30 am until 1:30 pm.
