

He was born in New Orleans on July 20, 1950 to the late Albert A. Laville, Jr. and Gladys M. Gaspard Laville. He is survived by his brothers Michael J. Laville (Dawn), David G. Laville (Barbara), Mark M. Laville (Tonya), his nieces Amanda Laville, Brittany Laville, Megan Laville and nephew Mason Laville.
He had an associate degree in mortuary science and was a licensed mortician who worked 39 years in the business before his retirement in 2017. Albert had many interest and hobbies and spent many hours relaxing by smoking his pipe, tying flies for fly fishing and fishing the streams of Missouri and local waterways. He always mentioned that he loved retirement because it gave him endless time to devote to his hobbies of building models, painting, reading books, collecting and playing games with friends and family.
Albert will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
A small memorial service will be held at Lake Lawn Park Mausoleum, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd, New Orleans, LA 70124 on July 2, 2025 at 1:00 pm.
