Aaron Dennis Verrett

He was born on March 14, 1957 to Sidney Verrett Sr. and Rose Blake Verrett in New Orleans, Louisiana. Aaron was the youngest of five children. He accepted Christ in 1994.

Aaron graduated from LB Landry High School and he attended The University of New Orleans. At an early age, Aaron enjoyed fixing cars. He also loved laughing with family and friends and fishing. He was a loyal alumnus of LB Landry Buccaneers where he served on the alumni board. Aaron was married to the love of his life Rhondie Weaver Verrett for 34 years. Their favorite thing to do was watching football. They were always together. Aaron worked In maintenance, for New Orleans Levee Board, New Orleans Public Schools, and Sodexo until his retirement. Aaron was full of life and left a positive mark on all he encountered. He will be remembered for his sense of humor and love for people.

He leaves to cherish his memories his wife Rhondie Weaver Verrett, his sister Rose Marie Bell, a sister-in-law Beverly Verrett, a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends.

Aaron was preceded in death by his parents Sidney Verrett Sr. and Rose Blake Verrett, 2 brothers Charles Verrett and Sidney Verrett Jr., 1 sister Eunice Atkins, and a sister-in-law Harriet Verrett.
