He was born in Canada on January 30, 1944.
Tim went to Manhattan High School and played football for the Indians, winning the state championship while on the team. After graduation he attended K-State, playing football there for a season, as you can imagine, Tim bled purple for K-State. He was honored to serve his country and served in Vietnam, Tim also was a member of the Manhattan VFW Post 1786 and American Legion. Tim spent 42 years working for Brown-Forman. You'd often see him enjoying his grandson’s ballgames, spending time with them and spoiling his wife, the Fox.
Tim is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Joyce O’Hara. He is also survived by his daughter, Shannon O’Hara; son, Sean O’Hara and three grandsons, Connor, Cayden and Cooper (Rieg).
A memorial service will be held on 2:00 pm Friday, May 26, 2023 at St. Thomas the Apostle Episcopal Church, 12251 Antioch Rd., Overland Park, KS 66213. Reception to follow.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the church or a charity of your choice.
