

Mike is survived by his father, Stephen Boos, Kansas City, Missouri, his siblings Matt Boos of Phoenix, Arizona, Aimee Chezem (Dave) of Olathe, Kansas, and Marc Boos of Kansas City; his nieces Laney Chezem and London Chezem; and his uncle David Bishop of Tucson, Arizona and God Daughter Elizabeth King, Gardner, Kansas.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Diane Boos, and his maternal grandparents, Don and Nora Bishop and his aunt Mary V.Halfen.
Mike worked in the automotive industry for more than 25 years and took great pride in his work and the friendships he made along the way. He graduated from Rockhurst High School in 1991 and earned his degree from Avila College in 1995.He was a member of the Men’s Basketball Team and founding member of Alpha Chi Fraternity.
Mike never knew a stranger. He was an incredible storyteller, and his knowledge of movies and pop culture trivia was truly second to none. He was active in the Mustang Club of America and the Kansas City Mustang Club, where he earned a coveted Medallion for showing his cars. Mike was also a lifelong Kansas City Chiefs fan and a devoted follower of professional wrestling.
Above all, Mike loved dogs. In his memory, the family asks that donations be made to KC Pet Project, helping save dogs and find them loving homes.
Mike will be greatly missed, but we take comfort in knowing God called him home. Services will be private with a Celebration of Life planned at a later date and location.
