Shirley Raylene Behm

Shirley Raylene Huttsell passed away on May 19, 2023 at home with her family. She was born on April 30, 1939 to Juanita Leona Smith and Walter Ray Huttsell in Dundenville, Missouri. Shirley went to High School in Nevada, Missouri where she met Delvin Behm and they were married on June 21, 1959.

Shirley and Delvin were blessed with three children, Jodi Cummings of Raymore, Missouri, Lynn Behm of Harrisonville, Missouri and Tricia Miller of Lenexa, Kansas. She worked at the Hickman Mills Clinic before opening her own Bed & Breakfast near the Country Club Plaza “Behm’s Plaza Carriage House”, and later retired to Florida in 2000. Shirley returned to Kansas City in 2020 to be close to her family.

Shirley leaves behind her husband, three children, six grandchildren and seven great-grand children.

A Celebration of Life will be scheduled at a later date.
