He would give the shirt off of his back for anyone that needed it. In fact, he gave to many, many charities every month for numerous years. Children in need, animals and Veterans to name just a few. He not only was charitable but was also a successful business man in many venues. He was strong, smart, charismatic, courageous, had a heart of gold and never judged others.
Roger was born on March 24, 1943 to Lois (Riker) and David Bigley. When he was young, Roger's family and friends found that although he could be ornery, with a great sense of humor, he was loyal to them above all. A graduate from Westport High School, he joined the Army and served as Military Police. He received an honorable discharge. After that he had many successful business ventures. Some of those businesses were jointly owned with his three siblings, David Lee, Shirley and Warner. They were all much older than he was but even as the baby brother he felt the need to help them whenever he could. He even was always there for his nieces and nephews. Roger also had many friends, but two were like brothers to him.
Roger is survived by two nieces, Darcy Sparks and Doriann Hillman, five nephews, Toby, Kirk, Warner, Gary Bigley, Tim Worley and numerous great and great-great nieces and nephews. His friend/brother Dan Salem.
Thank you to his caregiver Krissy Maiseroulle for her love and care.
