Richard A. Eissfeldt, Resting in Peace in Jesus on June 1, 2019. Survived by his wife of 58 years, Anna (nee Schumacher) Eissfeldt; two children, Joanna Maire Smith and Michael Richard Eissfeldt; granddaughter, Ashley (nee Smith) Rau; great grandchildren, Terrence Henderson Rau III and Raegan Marie Rau. Richard graduated from Concordia Seminary, St. Louis with an M. Div, and an M.S.W. from San Diego State. He served as President of Lutheran Family and Children's Services of MO and Lutheran Services of FL. He was honored as Veteran of the Year at Meramec Bluffs in Balli, MO in 2018.
Services to be hold at 10:3 am at the Meramec Bluffs Chapel, Ballwin, MO on Friday, June 14, 2019. Visitation will precede the service at 9:30 am. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Lutheran Family and Children's Services of MO, Lutheran Senior Services Benevolent Care, and Trinity Lutheran Church, Town and Country, MO.
