Peter Anthony Zarrillo

Peter was born in Niagara Falls, NY on June 13th, 1950, to William and Barbara Bradford. Pete was raised in Independence, MO and graduated from Truman High School class of 1968.

Pete will be missed as a great husband, father,grandfather, uncle and friend. Pete had 4 children and later married Nancy Cascairo in 1987. They were married for 36 wonderful years. Pete worked at BSNF for 36 years and had recently enjoyed retirement for the last 13.

f you were looking for Pete in the last 50+ years you could find him on the softball field, or at a Chiefs game, he was a lover of all sports. Pete could also be found filling an aquarium of exotic fish, loving on his dogs or spending time on the lake.

He is survived by; his loving wife Nancy and adult children, Joey Zarrillo (Micheal); Brad Zarrillo; Adam James “AJ” Zarrillo (Elizabeth); Malia Zarrillo and Micheal Kensinger; 9 grandchildren and his brother Bill Bradford (Karen). Along with his numerous sister-in-laws, brother-in-laws, nieces, nephews, extended family and great friends. He is preceded in death by his parents and brother Paul Zarrillo and mother-in-law Marilyn Cascairo.

A celebration of life will be knocked out of the park in his honor, at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Alzheimer’s Association in his memory.
