Norma Morgan Wade, of Weleetka, Oklahoma, passed on Monday, May 30, 2016, at the age of 87. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, June 18th at 11:00 a.m. at First Baptist Church of Weleetka, Oklahoma.
Norma was born on March 3, 1929, in Pawnee, Oklahoma, the daughter of John and Audra Morgan. She moved to Weleetka, Oklahoma when she was twelve years old and graduated from Weleetka High School in 1947. She attended Oklahoma A & M University (Oklahoma State University) in 1948. She married Percy Wade, Jr. on January 14, 1949. After marrying, she and Percy moved to Oklahoma City where they lived until they retired and returned to Weleetka. Norma worked with Devon Oil Company of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma for over 30 years. Norma loved the Lord, her family, and her church family at the First Baptist Church of Weleetka.
Norma is survived by her daughter, Becky (Bob) Pirotte, of Olathe, Kansas; son, Percy Wade of Weleetka, Oklahoma; one brother, John (Nancy) Morgan, Jr. of Bristol, Indiana; two grandson, Christopher (Carolyn) Pirotte of Chicago, Illinois and Chad (Carrie) Pirotte of Olathe, Kansas; and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 65 years, Percy, and her parents.
