

Myrna Gayle Bonner, 79, passed away on March 29, 2024, at Anew Healthcare in Odessa, MO. Gayle was born on July 28, 1944, in Hot Springs, Arkansas to Lloyd Franklin Hardage and Helen Denise (Sheets) Hardage. She lived most of her life in southern California before moving to Hot Springs, Arkansas in 2022. She moved to Odessa, MO earlier this year.
Gayle graduated in 1962 from Malvern High School in Arkansas. She was a cheerleader and a Homecoming Queen. As a little girl she met Frank Boers, Jr, who would become her high school sweetheart. Life had them going their separate ways after graduation and starting their own families. Over 40 years later, Gayle had found that Frank had changed his name professionally to Frank Bonner and that he was still the love of her life, as she was his. They were united in marriage on Catalina Island, California, on July 28, 2006, and spent every day together until Frank’s last breath on June 16, 2021.
Prior to retiring to spend more time with her husband and their blended families, Gayle worked as a receptionist in accounts payable. She worked for many years in the robotics industry for Boeing and CHAD Industries.
In addition to her parents and husband, Gayle was preceded in death by a daughter, Jacqueline Denise Jackson; sister-in-law, Jackie (Jacqueline) Hardage; stepson, Michael Bonner, and step-grandson Jackson Bonner.
She is survived by and deeply missed by her daughter, DeAndra Gayle Freed (Matt); stepdaughter, Desiree Boers-Kort (Mona); two stepsons; six grandchildren, Aubrey (Travis), Trevor, Devynn, Donovan, Zach (Jordan), and Akira; three great-grandchildren, Rowan, Mila-Gray, and Elizabeth; brother, Frank Hardage, and many more beloved family members and dear friends.
