born June 26, 1936 in Thayer, KS. She owned and operated her own beauty shop for over 30 years in
Gardner.
Mavis was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years: Ray Springston. She leaves three sons, Timothy (Tammy) Springston of Olathe, Michael Springston of Olathe, and Patrick (Lori) Springston of Olympia, WA. One daughter Teresa (Wayne) Frazier of Parkville, MO. Five grandsons, Todd (Christy), Matt, and Cody Springston, James (Stephanie) and Dean (Beth) Frazier, three granddaughters Julia Daulton, Samantha Springston, and Emily Frazier. Three great granddaughters, Ashton Ray Daulton, Brooklyn Springston, and
Lennix Moore.
Celebration of life will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 22, 2018 at Olathe Christian Church. Reception and light lunch to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations in Mavis’ name to OHC- Hospice would be appreciated.
