Mrs. Lorene Marie Wright

Lorene Marie Wright, 73 of Kansas City passed on June 25, 2022. Lorene was born on August 21, 1948 to Leo Forrest and Viola Adeline (Rosenthal) Helmberger in Perham, Minnesota. She was formerly of Vadnais Heights, Minnesota.

Lorene was a strong-willed and very independent woman which served her well all her life and especially as a legal secretary for 15 years. One of the things she truly treasured was taking trips in the RV, especially to the North Shore of Minnesota on Lake Superior. Lorene had the gift of creativity, which showed in the beautiful home she made for her family. One of the last activities she engaged in was jewelry making leaving behind some very beautiful items.

Her parents and one sister, Antoinette Nitschke, predecease her. She leaves behind to cherish her memory her husband, James W. Wright Jr., her son Jon Freeman, daughter-in-law, Camille Meis Freeman, granddaughter, Isabelle Marie Freeman, three stepsons and a host of nephews and nieces.
