Leslie Eugene Lemmon Jr.

Leslie Lemmon, Jr, 66, passed away on October 6, 2017 at Providence Hospital in Kansas City, KS. He was born on May 1, 1951 in Kansas City, KS to Leslie and Wilma (Nelson) Lemmon. Les grew up in Kansas City. He graduated from Wyandotte HS in Kansas City, KS in 1969. After high school, he worked for Greystone Graphics as a printer where he worked for 30 years. After retirement, Les found a new passion of gardening. Les was a member of Master Gardeners. He helped manage the Turner Community Garden. He enjoyed bowling and spending time with his grandchildren. Les is survived by his four daughters Elizabeth (Mark) Hausner, Katie (Chris) Gonzalez, Laura Lemmon, Joy (Rigo) Godinez; his son Robert (Morgan) Lemmon; his sister Linda (Gary) Bond; his grandchildren Andrew, Anthony, Kiara, Layla, Bella, Wendy, Xiomara, Maritza, Lidia, Francisca, Lola, Ruby; and his nieces and nephews and other relatives. Les was preceded in death by his parents. The family suggests memorial donations for the Turner Community Garden.
