Rippentrop, Judith Ann "Judy", 81 of Kansas City, Missouri; after a short time on Hospice, passed away peacefully at home in the presence of her family. Judy was born June 13, 1935; residing in the Kansas City area for many years. In 1961; while stationed as a Naval nurse in Kodiak, Alaska, she married the love of her life, a Naval corpsman, Roger G. Rippentrop. After Roger was restationed at Great Lakes Naval Base, they moved to live in the Waukegan, Illinois. Judy is survived by her loving family; son, Michael Rippentrop, daughter; Alyssa (Scott) Koepsel,; grand children, Jessica and Benjamin Koepsel, brother, Everett L. (Sue) Fisher Jr. ; her husband's dear sisters; Sandra, Corrine, Marilyn, Linda and their families as well as many loved nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband Roger, parents, Everett L. & Ethel Fisher Sr., and Idah Rippentrop - Bakken. A celebration of life funeral service will be held on Monday, Oct. 3rd at St. Luke's Church, 4301 NE Vivian Rd., Kansas City, Missouri. Visitation is at 10-11 a.m., 11 a.m. service with Military Honors directly following service. In lieu of followers, donations can be made in Judy's name to Wounded Warrior Project or St. Luke's School of Nursing.
