John Anthony Sisto

John touched many lives through his kindness and respect for others. John grew up in Syracuse, N.Y. and attended Christian Brothers Academy. He graduated from Manhattan College in N.Y., and was in the U.S. Air Force. He then worked at IBM as a manager for 35 years. Upon retirement, John became President of Horizons Consulting Inc. for approximately 10 years. John and his family resided in Old Tappan, NJ for 34 years. Finally, retiring to Bluffton, South Carolina and eventually moving to Olathe, Kansas.

John is predeceased by his late wife, Barbara Anne Sisto, his parents, John and Eleanor Sisto, and his brother Richard Sisto.

He is survived by his wife, Virginia Sisto, his sister Rita Sisto, his children Shawn (and Michael) Roth, Cheryl McKeon, John D. Sisto, David (and Laura) Sisto, his five grandchildren, his four great grandchildren, as well as his step sons, Sam (and Joyce) DePriest and Greg (and Heather) DePriest, and six step grandchildren and one step grandson. John, truly made this world a better place.

A Memorial mass will be held on May 28th at the Most Holy Rosary Church, 111 Roberts Ave. Syracuse, N.Y. and a celebration of his life, will follow.
