I worked with John at Cerner.  We had a very good time overseeing client projects.  John was always available to help me and I did my best to help him in return.  Prayers to all and for John.

Dear Michelle, Devon, Camryn and Jordan,
We want you to know that you are in our thoughts and prayers.  We just learned of John's passing when we were at the pool on July 4 with some of your neighbors.  We are so very sorry.    We will always have great memories of  John, you & the LS North tennis parents at Devon and Eric's matches.  We will see you around the neighborhood Michelle.  Take care of yourselves. I had the pleasure of working with John several times over the years during our time with Cerner.  He was one of the first project managers I worked with when I was new, and John's easygoing demeanor and often-quiet confidence always went a long way to making me feel supported in my work, especially in front of the client.  You always knew John would have your back.

Just a couple of years ago we got to work together on a project in Jefferson City.  Not the most glamorous of places, but boy, did John always know where to go eat and get a drink after work!  He was a wonderful colleague, a great man to be around, and I will miss him a lot.

I was shocked and saddened to hear of John's passing.   I had the pleasure of working with John for 6+ years at Cerner.   I always enjoyed his sense of humor and easy-going personality.  He seemed to handle challenges with ease.   His love of family was obvious, as he spoke about them often.   Our one disagreement was which Mel Brooks movie was the best -  Young Frankestein or Blazing Saddles.   Although we agreed both were good.  Serious stuff.  Ha!

Michelle and Family we are very sorry for your loss and send our deepest sympathies.   We never got to meet John but knowing Jordan he must have been a wonderful father, husband and person.  Our condolences.

I hope this sparks a few good memories of John. I’ll never forget growing up the following moments: when Camryn and I got the Barbie jeep out by ourselves after John told us no, and he was furious!!! The time when John, Camryn and I jammed out to Crocodile Rock in the old truck. Family dinners, in which one was a German restaurant we went to and John kept saying “schnitzel” all funny. We can also never forget the time he coached the Crocs! There are so many other memories, but these ones stood out to me. John led his life purely, with laughter and love. He will always be remembered.
