Born in Carnagie, Oklahoma to parents Albanio Burrola and Alexandra Nunes, he was the oldest of eight children. The Burrola Family later moved to Amarillo, Texas. That is where John met the love of his life, Catalina Burrola. They were married on April 22, 1946.
John enlisted in the United States Air Force to serve his county in WWII. His time of service spanned from November 1, 1944- through February 11,1947. On September 24, 1958 John and Catalina welcomed their daughter, Jeannine Burrola. John then moved his family to Kansas City, Missouri. where he went to trade school for electrical and plumbing. He then went to work for TV tech and retired in 2016.
John had a love for boxing and never missed a fight. He had a passion for dancing and up until the last few years, John and Catalina would still dance around the living room. He lived a good long life and will be missed tremendously.
John is survived by his wife of 75 years, Catalina, daughter Jeannine Saladino, Granddaughter, Julie Anthony (Bob), grandson Phillip Saladino (Alecia), great grandchildren, Ariana (Jake), Madelyn, Marisa, Tyler, Isabell and Emilia. and a great great granddaughter, Catalina, nieces and nephews and other extended family.
John was preceded in death by his parents, Albanio Burrola and Alexandra Nunes, Brother, Manueal, Pete, Sammy and Frank, Sisters: Mary Lou, Julia, Josphine. Son in law: Phillip V Saladino. The services will be held for John at a later date, at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Higginsville, MO.
