Jerzey Mae Louise Bowen, age 21, of Eldon, MO and Spring Hill, KS, was reunited with her brother Jakob in heaven on Sunday, October 22, 2023. Jerzey was born January 5, 2002 in Jefferson City, MO, the daughter of Aaron C. Bowen and Tanya M. Trzecki.
Jerzey loved to create. She shared her creativity through drawing, writing, makeup, hairstyles and tattoos. Jerzey was also creative in the way that she could create family wherever she went. If you knew Jerzey, you loved her and you know that when she loved you, she meant it. Her bright light of a personality and goofy demeanor will be missed by all.
She is survived by her parents, paternal grandparents, Floyd “Jimmie” and Glenda Frakes, one sister, Tyler (Jon) Runyan, niece Madalyn Runyan, Aunt Kerry Trzecki, and cousins John (Kelsey) Sullivan, Shai Sims and Samantha Sullivan among others. She was preceded in death by her brother Jakob Bowen, her great grandparents, Clyde and Viola Eddy, Esther Hanke, and maternal grandparents, Frank and Kathleen Trzecki.
A celebration of Jerzey’s life will be held at the 401 Event Space (401 N. Madison St.
Spring Hill, KS 66083) on November 18th at 10am. There will be a lunch to follow. In lieu of flowers, you can send a monetary donation to My Father’s House (1004 N Pearl St, Paola, KS 66071) earmarked for Jerzey. This place was an important part of Jerzey’s story.
