Jerry D. Rodgers (78) passed away on Tuesday November 15th at St. Lukes Hospital in Kansas City, after suffering a long time illness in conjunction with Alzheimer’s. He was the son of the late Jack C. Rodgers and Ethel Marie Cramer. He is preceded in death by Lucinda P. Rodgers (first wife of 40 years) and Nina M. Rodgers (wife of 15 years). Survived by daughters: Sherry Rodgers-Hayward (Buck), Joyce Rodgers, and Leanne Jacobi; sister, Mary Laughlin and brother, John T. Rodgers; in addition three grand children: Joshua, Austin, and Madison. Jerry proudly served the United States Navy for 22+ years, retired with honors. Services to be held Monday, November 28th at 2:00 p.m., Shawnee Mound Cumberland Presbyterian Church, Chilhowee Missouri followed by a family service in San Diego, California with Military Honors.
