Harold L. Zimmerman

Harold L. Zimmerman of Kansas City, MO, passed away on November 25, 2025, at the age of 96 years. He was born on August 23, 1929, in Kansas City, MO. He attended Eden Seminary in St. Louis, MO. He was ordained in the United Church of Christ and served churches in Kansas, Missouri, Washington, and California. In retirement, he and his wife, Ann, had a ministry as a presenting clergy couple in Marriage Encounters. Harold and Ann had a 72-year love story.

Harold’s hobbies included gardening, model trains, travel, pastels, and poetry.

Harold is survived by his wife, Ann and their four children, Sue Ward (Steve), Paul Zimmerman (Rebecca), Phil Zimmerman (Sherry), and Tom Zimmerman (Linda), 12 grandchildren, and 12 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at Colonial United Church of Christ of Prairie Village, January 24, 2026, at 11:00am.

He was a child of God and will truly be missed by all who knew him.
