Granville Lee Harrison

Granville was born on September 13, 1921 to Leo and Lucy (Barret) Harrison.

Granville married Laura Jean Salzman on July 12, 1969. She preceded him in death on February 5, 2018.

Granville served as a Metalsmith, first class, in the United States Navy. He retired from the Navy on September 1, 1952. He was a lifetime member of the Fleet Reserve Association.

Granville was a long time member of First Baptist Church in Platte City, Missouri.

Granville was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Lucile.

Survivors include: daughters Karen (Glenn) Butts of St. Joseph, Missouri and Melanie (Bob) Waldroff of Stewartsville, Missouri; four grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren; brother Neal Harrison of Leavenworth, Kansas and several nieces and nephews.

The family will gather with friends at First Baptist Church, Platte City, Missouri on December 21, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. Memorial service to follow at 11:00 a.m.

Inurnment at Fort Leavenworth national Cemetery at 1:30 p.m.
