Elizabeth Ann Alderman

Elizabeth Ann (Smoyer) Bailey Alderman passed on July 12, 2019 at Providence Medical Center. Beth was born on September 15, 1948 in Kansas City, Kansas to Robert William Smoyer and Ruth Laverne (Smith) Smoyer. She was one of seven children and was often in charge of her brother and sisters. At the age of 14 Beth traveled with her mother and siblings to California where she resided until 1970.

Beth’s greatest enjoyment came from being with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was also a fan of Elvis, John Wayne, and Disney. Elvis was her true love! She had so many talents such as sewing, quilting, and cooking more food than anyone could eat. Beth was an active member of Calvary Chapel Church.

Beth was known for being a hard worker who had survived two of the large floods in the Armourdale area and came back from them with a smile on her face. She retired from Commerce Bank.

She is predeceased by her 1 st husband, John Bailey, parents, Robert Smoyer and Ruth Rudesill. She is survived by her children; John Bailey and Patricia Bailey, grandchildren, Amanda Bailey, Ashley Converse, and Kylie Walker, great grandchildren; Zelda, Luvella, Jay Dee, Simplicity and Zoie (Precious Princess), brothers, Robert W Smoyer and Thomas D. Smoyer, sisters, Linda K. Miller, Darlele R. Fretwell, Deborah S. Hoobler, and Peggy J. Rahija. and her second husband Larry Eugene Alderman.
