David L. Clouser was born February 18, 1940 near Agency, Missouri to Gladys Fern Clouser and Louis Wright Clouser. David went to meet the Lord on May 23, 2023, at his home in Weston, Missouri under hospice care. He was preceded in death by both parents, his brother, Richard Wright Clouser of Livermore, California and his sister Wanda Jo Naliviako of Independence, Missouri and his beloved son, Jeffrey David Clouser.
David attended Faucett High School in Faucett, Missouri. He then joined the Air Force and was stationed at Larson AFB in Moses Lake, Washington. After discharge, he attended college at Northwest Missouri State in Maryville, Missouri. He worked most of his life at TWA, hiring on in January 1966 as a machinist. He obtained his A & P License and retired from TWA/American Airline as an inspector in NDT. David also worked for TWA in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia in late 1970’s and early 1980’s.
David is survived by his wife of 60 years, Sandra, and daughter, Michele Anne Rowe (Ron) of Omaha, Nebraska and his son, John David Clouser of Overland Park, Kansas. He is also survived by three grandchildren, Dr. Hunter Faris of San Diego, California, Chloe Hill (Max) of Kansas City, MO and Tanner Rowe, attending Kansas State University.
David was a private pilot and enjoyed flying his airplanes. He also loved to travel and went to many countries around the world of TWA and American Airlines. David was a Christian and was baptized into the First Baptist Church of Weston many years ago upon profession of his faith in Jesus Christ.
There will be a graveside service and interment at Leavenworth National Cemetery, 150 Muncie Road, Leavenworth, Kansas on Monday, June 5, 2023 at 10:00 AM.
