

Christinia Marie Campbell, age 75, of Excelsior Springs, MO passed away peacefully Friday, October 31, 2025, at North Kansas City Hospital, MO. She was bom January 10, 1950, in Kansas City, MO, the daughter of the late Harold A. Whitworth and Mary J. (Jaquess) Whitworth. She was always "mom" first but also worked in the service industry much of her life beginning as a beautician and later as a school bus driver and a "dial-a-ride" bus driver for the seniors of ]ohn Knox Village, Lee's Summit,MO.
Christinia was married to Larry B. Campbell on April 3, 1970, in Lee's Summit, MO. In April 2025, they celebrated 55 years together. In addition to Larry, Christinia is survived by her brother Mike "Whitworth (Coleen) of Easton, MO, and sister Toni Troupe Ostrom (late Monnie Ostrom) of Kearney, MO, son Andy Campbell (Angela) of Lee's Summit, MO. and daughter Amy (Clayton) Couch of Kearney, MO. In addition, she is survived by granddaughter Ashton Campbell Swopes (Noah) of Hollman AFB, NM, grandson Andersen Campbell of Lee's Summit, granddaughter Magenia Parish of Excelsior Springs, grandson Elijah Parish of Lee's Summit, grandson Clayton Garrett Couch of Lee's Summit, grandson Simon Simpson (Katia) of Harrisonville, Daltyn Schafer (Destiny Wolfe) of Kearney, nephew Jeremy Troupe of Raytown, and five great grandchildren.
Christinia. was preceded in death by her parents Harold and Mary Whitworth, her son Michael Campbell, her brother-in-law Monnie Ostrom, and her father-in-law and mother-in-law Gene and Lois Campbell.
Christinia graduated from Lee's Summit High School and immediately enrolled and later graduated from Beautician School in Raytown MO. While working as a beautician, she and Larry began their family which soon became her sole focus. Chris later reentered the workforce as a school bus driver for several years and ultimately began driving the "dial-a-ride" bus for John Knox Village. She deeply loved and cared for her family, the children she cared for and all of the seniors she had an opportunity to serve. In her spare time, she loved making crafts of all kinds and giving them to others as gifts.
Christinia will be deeply missed by her family and friends. Memorials can be made to NorthCare Hospice House.
