

Caroline Eledge (nee Yeo), (83), died peacefully Sunday, June 21, 2026, with her sister Barbara at her side. Caroline was born January 9, 1943, in Kansas City, Missouri, to Burdette and Freda Yeo. She graduated from Southwest High School in Kansas City where she was involved with the Philo sorority before going on to study at Baker University where she pledged to the Tri Delt sorority. She earned her bachelor’s degree in business from Avila University in 1978 and went on to earn her master’s degree from Webster University in 1986.
Caroline had a long, successful career working in Human Resources at ADP and Sprint.
Caroline was happily married to Larry Eledge whom she met while studying at Webster. Together, Caroline and Larry enjoyed traveling and dining out. She was a fun-loving free spirit. She made friends easily and enjoyed spending time with them. She enjoyed sports cars, music, travel and a good party.
She was involved in Lakewood Garden Club and a leader in the St. Luke’s Hospital Auxiliary.
Earlier in her life, she was diagnosed with breast cancer. True to form, she took the situation courageously and head on, and underwent treatments as she continued working, ultimately defeating the disease.
Most of all, Caroline loved spending time with her family and dear friends, whom she cherished and loved.
Caroline is preceded in death by her parents, Burdette and Freda, her husband Larry, her older brother Kenny Yeo, her sister-in-law Dee Yeo, her niece Elizabeth Yeo, her nephew Jack Yeo, her nephew Ryan Ramsey and her brother-in-law Bill Ramsey.
Caroline is survived by her younger sister Barbara Ramsey (nee Yeo), her niece Megan Unkenholz (nee Ramsey) and her husband Matthew along with their two children Bridgette and Brody; her nephew William Ramsey and his wife Kristen and their children Kate, Quinn and Charlie; her niece Nancy Reazin (nee Yeo) and her husband Troy and their children Mike, Patrick, Danny and Libby Bolner (nee Reazin); her nephew Burt Yeo and his wife Christy and their children Kenny, Aaron, Hope and Adam; and her late nephew Jack’s wife Julie Yeo (nee Hurley) and their children Elizabeth, Peter and Patrick.
A private family celebration of Caroline’s life will be held in Texas at a later date.
