Andrew Marcus Gregory

Drew will be remembered as a great father, husband, and son. He was loved by so many friends, aunts, uncles, and cousins. Drew was also known for his sense of humor, loving a good party, and his favorite pastime, football.

Drew was born in Kansas City, MO and lived his early life in Odessa, MO until 2001. After moving to Kansas City, MO, Drew attended Winnetonka High School. He graduated in 2007. Drew attended Missouri Valley College where he played football and majored in Public Relations. Missouri Valley College is where he met the love of his life, Hannah Brown. Drew and his bride, Hannah, were married in September of 2013 and soon began their family. They were blessed with Addison Miley, Jackson Scott, and Joseph Wayne. Drew spent his post-college years in the trucking/logistic industry. He was a dock supervisor for Central Transportation at the time of his passing.

Drew is survived by his wife, Hannah and sons, Jack and Joe of the home, his mother Janet McCarthy (Jim); father Dan Gregory (Carol); and his sisters Paige, Jessica, and Julia McCarthy and Sarah Ross. Drew is further survived by his in-laws Darrin and Jennifer Brown; and his sisters-in-law Emily Martinez (Francisco), Rebecca Schrier (Paul), Olivia Jungmeyer (Jeremy), and Jaclynne Brown. Drew was a proud uncle to his nieces and nephews: Mac Gregory; Micah, Liliana, and Ezra Martinez; Nathaniel, Benjamin, and Abigail Schrier; Jordan and Nickholas Brooks; MJ and Aubree Black and Chelsea and Payton Ross, along with great nephew: Preston Woodrome.. He is survived by grandparents Patricia Costello, Edward and Shirley Anderson, and John and Mary McCarthy. Drew is also survived by the members of his crew: Derick Barker, David Bellis, Tim Townsend, Bobby Smoot, Mitchell Bainridge, and Zak Berislavich.

Drew was proceeded in death by Addison Gregory, TJ Gregory, Joe and Fern Zeller, Larry and Estella Gregory, Shay Zeller, Colby Gregory, Dean Zeller, Hayden and Riley Schrier, and Quentin Jungmeyer.

Drew was loved by his many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. It’s hard to list them all.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 26th from 1:00 PM to 4:30 PM. There will be a time to share memories at 3:30 PM. The service will be located at Eastside Baptist Church: 19901 MO-78, Independence, MO 64057. There will be a party starting at 5:00 PM for Drew at Side Pockets: 1237 MO-7, Blue Springs, MO 64014.
