Alene Marie Marr

Alene Marr, 77, of Blue Springs, Mo sadly passed away on Sunday, January 18, 2026, surrounded by family, after battling health issues starting in 2018. Alene was born in San Mateo, CA, to Clarence Melvin Marr and Geraldine Katherine Miller.

Her family will remember her as a loving, caring women. She was the type of person to help anyone who needed her help, to defy odds, and make people believe there is a higher power. To her children, she was tough and nurturing but would do anything to help them. Alene loved working at Colonial Presbyterian Church, she made lots of good friends while she worked there.

Alene was preceded in death by her father Clarence Melvin Marr; her mother Geraldine Katherine Miller; her son Rodney James Ault, her sisters Patricia A. Clark, and Joyce L. Zimmerman; brother-in-law Frank G. McKinney; and nephew Michael R. Brodbeck.

Alene is survived by her two sons and their families; Ronald, Richard (Jennifer); and 4 grandchildren, whom she adored Brittany, Rodney, Reece, and Jessyca. As well as her siblings; Wayne, Sandra, Clarice, Ron, Jack. She also had several nieces and nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

You will be deeply missed and will forever remain in our hearts and memories.

There will be a celebration of life to be announced later.
