Theresa Louise Mears

She graduated from a college in Broward County, Florida with a medical assistant certificate in the 1980s. Prior to taking care of her grandchildren, she worked as a medical assistant and in medical billing at Broward Medical Center.

She was actively involved in Reading Pals, gardening, and caring for her grandchildren as well crocheting blankets, clothing and animals for the various organizations and loved ones.

She was preceded in death by her father, Francis Brown, her sister Karen Stohlberg, and her brothers Dana and Peter Stohlberg.

She is survived by their husband David, her children Zachary and Angela and their spouses Kimberly and Christopher, her grandchildren Logan, Wyatt, and Amelia, her mother, Carolyn, her brothers Daniel and Roger and their spouses Linda and Terri, and numerous nieces and nephews as well as many friends, “adopted” children and grandchildren.

Theresa loved flowers, butterflies and hummingbirds as well as sunrises, sunsets, and moonrises.
