I am so sorry for your loss!  Paul was a great man and inspiration of a true man of God to my church family!  I will miss seeing him at Crossroad but know he's in Heaven and we will see him again.  Hugs and blessings to the entire family!!!!!!!!!  Love, Steph

Paul was such a self-sacrificing encourager! He remains a hero and example every time I remember him. As you all share your memories of Paul, they mingle with my own experience alongside him, to remind me of what "Encourage one another daily" is supposed to look like. He was an anchor for our Wednesday men's Bible fellowship, repeatedly stepped out of his way to personally encourage me, and was my roommate at the recent men's retreat. What a sweet guy! I am eager to see him again. I know he will be seated in the Hero section in the assembly of Heaven.

My brother Paul was a true man of faith.   I watched him go through trial after trial in wonderment. His life was not easy. Losing a child at 38 was not easy.  Sandy had cancer, Paul had cancer. Sandy developed Alzheimer's.  Her care was not easy. And Paul just put his faith in God and took step after step in faith.  I loved him and I will miss him. He was a gift to the world.  

He was a good man. Was always kind to me when I was a kid.  He will definitely be missed. My thoughts and prayers are with his family.

So often far apart but always in each others heart. I  will always remember and love you brother.  Duken.                                                                                                                         

My heart is heavy for the loss of Paul.  My husband Mike and my sons Dylan and Garth were privileged to know Paul and Sandy as our pastoral couple at the Potsdam Church of the Nazarene some years ago.  We never forgot their leadership and kindness to us all.  They were both very supportive to Mike (the worship leader at the time) and to our family as a whole.

May God bless the Wehr family and comfort them through this sorrow.  May they find solace in each other and  in the sure knowledge that Paul is with the Lord.

Paul always made Analyse feel so loved.  She is going to miss her grand dad so much. 
I know he is enjoying his new life with Jesus.

Lasting memories come to mind, of a time when Paul and I shared the center positions in the Anchormen Quartet at Eastyern Nazarene College. Ray Patch and Ken Aikens were the "bookends." Since learning of my friend Paul's passing,, I've been reliving the two years we traveled together for  ENC. Good memories--good days--fond hope for a glad reunion in the Celestial City . These words out of Shakespeare's "Hamlet" from ENC's World Literature class come back.: "Good night sweet prince and flights of angels sing thee to thy rest.".  Merritt Nielson

I was so very saddened to hear of Pastor Wehr's passing. He was our Pastor in the 1970's at The Nazarene Church in Hillcrest N.Y. He will always be fondly remember.
