Stanley Petrie

Stanley Petrie, 94, of Deltona passed away peacefully on January 22, 2017. Stanley was born in Montreal Canada and immigrated to the United States as an infant. He served in the US Navy during WWII. He worked at Chapman Valve and Monsanto Co. in Massachusetts. He married Mary Rita Kehoe and had two sons, David and John Petrie. He moved with his family to Hollywood, Fl where he worked in the Hospitality industry until retiring to Deltona, Fl in 1983. He enjoyed golf, travel, and family gatherings. Stanley is preceded by his parents, John and Agnes Petrie, his wife, Mary Kehoe Petrie, his son, David Petrie, daughter in law, Carol Petrie and his 10 siblings. Stanley is survived by his wife of 33 years, Sara DeFalco Petrie; son, John A Petrie; step-daughter, Phyllis DeFalco Kentleton; many nieces, nephews all whom held a special place in his heart. Stanley Petrie, devoted husband and father, will be laid to rest 1:00 p.m. Thursday, February 23, 2017 at the Jacksonville National Cemetery, 4083 Lannie Road, Jacksonville, Fl 32218.
